About

I'm Leah Elizabeth, a mother and educator with a passion for writing.

With an MFA in Writing, a previous life as a mom blogger, and a current career in secondary education, you can sum me up as a multi-passionate mother with a knack for coaching and a desperate need for chocolate.

When I’m not chauffeuring my children or getting lost in a novel, I work as a book coach and writing mentor — serving writers, mothers, and educators.

A Little More About Me...

To say I’ve had a non-traditional path to education would be an understatement. Here’s a little more about me!

Who I Work With

Mothers

As a survivor of pregnancy loss, infertility, and post-partum depression, I’ve had to fight to find myself time and again. Now, I help mothers reclaim their lives by writing their way through motherhood.

Educators

As a professional writer entering education, I think the way we teach writing is a little, well, backwards. I help teachers foster student writers with portfolio-based writing curriculums.

Writers

With 15+ years of workshopping experience, I offer 1:1 writing mentorships, book coaching, manuscript critiques and more through the NWIA Writers’ Workshop.

How Can I help you?
